Years ago, in search of a healthier lifestyle, I started applying the old adage “you are what you eat" thus, everything we put on our skin basically becomes food.
At that time, I was using a brand of products that smelled great but had a lot of artificial ingredients that I wanted to minimize. I also had a lot of fond memories of my mother’s and uncle’s stories of watching their grandmother make soap at home. Then one day, my daughter brought me a special bar of soap and I suddenly had the urge to try to make my own soap as a hobby and an investment in my health.
As excited as I was to try soap making, I didn't just dive in. There's a lot of science in the process of soaping and I never really cared for science but I did my research. I spent 129 hours learning the science of making soap before I tried my first batch which came out looking like canned spam but it felt fabulous on my skin and it smelled great as well. I was smitten with the process, I know it's better for my skin and I feel a wonderful connection to a family soapmaker that I never had the pleasure of meeting.
My soaps are made from vegan, natural, sustainable oils and butters, alkaline water, essential/fragrance oil mixes, botanical and mica powder colorants. That’s it. Clean and simple. They contain no harsh chemicals, no added detergents or surfactants, no sulfates and no parabens making my natural soap the perfect gentle skin cleanser for the entire family.
Each small batch is individually handcrafted and unique. No two batches are identical and no two bars look exactly alike though the ingredients and quality are always consistent.

I use simple, earth friendly packaging because I would rather invest in quality ingredients instead of fancy paper.
